No longer AWOL
Things have been busy on the cookbook front as we're nearing the end - mid-April ain't all that far away now! I spent three days over the past week digging into my first food photo shoot. Oh my, are there a lot of details to consider. In the end though, after many hours of cooking, then primping and preening the food (don't worry, the food never got a coating of hairspray or any artificial colouring - the most we ever did was to paint a little water on things when they started drying out) and adjusting napkin and cutlery positioning and the like, we got 16 really gorgeous shots.
Now, have you all noticed that I've started a Facebook group for Get it Ripe? Please get in on that. And once you've signed up, invite your friends!
And now with all that build up, I'm sorry to say I have no recipe to deliver. I got a new computer for Christmas, and Windows Vista has inspired many a curse word since then. I can't for the life of me figure out how to access my photos to resize them in Photoshop before importing them to Photobucket and then Blogger. Arrrgh!
